Option 1:
You
should try Uniball Laknock SN101 pen. It's a ball point pen,so doesn't
spill ink much. And it has a 1.4 mm point,so it's easy and fast to fill
up the circles in an OMR sheet. While marking answers,at times, the ink
of many pens smudges because of sweat,or water, sometimes. This is not
the problem with laknock. And another thing to be cautious about is some
pointy pens may get the answer sheet torn, but laknock has a broad
point,as I earlier said. It has a very comfortable grip as well. It's
specifically designed for OMR sheet marking. Broad, and smudge free
marking. Price is 50₹. I've always used it in my all exams, and the
experience is great so far. If your pen is not proper, you might have to
face technical problems. And even a little smudge can make you sweat in
the exam hall, and that affects the performance. So wisely choose your
pen.
Option 2:
use this
trick for all my tests. Usually OMR sheets are required to be filled
using a pencil, so I always use a 6B pencil or above (the best is 7B).
At times they ask you to use ball-point pens. For times like these
always keep a ball-point pen, with thickness of above 1.4 mm, handy.
Option 3:
There
is quick or shortcut way for this. The only way is practice, practice,
practice, practice….. The more you practice the faster and more
efficiently you do it in your exams. Here is a sample OMR daily practice
2 to 3 sheets and you will observe the difference. Circle the options
randomly.
OMR Sheets also known as bubble sheets have circles or
elliptical bubbles or boxes as response areas. Mark your response only
in the space provided for the purpose. Response marked elsewhere will
not be considered. Here is a brief guides showing you how to fill OMR
sheets in the correct manner and what to avoid while doing so. While
filling bubbles, use of Pen/Pencil depends on the rules set by the exam
body. Carefully read the instructions given on the sheet before filling.
OMR sheet has to be filled using Blue/Black Ball Pen or HB pencil. DO
NOT use Ink Pen as it might bloat or spill. DO NOT underfill or overfill
the OMR circles. Avoid partial filling or spilling out. First fill the
circles/boxes in the OMR sheet completely and then darken the filled
circles/boxes. Completely darken the respective circle for your
response. Please fill the appropriate OMR circles with due care. Avoid
over-writing on OMR Sheet. Mark multiple bubbles only in case of MCQs or
multiple choice questions. If you mark more than one circle in a single
choice question the answer will be considered as being wrong.
There are a few restricted areas on OMR sheets that you should know
about. There are ‘DO NOT WRITE’ areas demarcated on some OMR Sheet.
Please do not write or mark on the demarcated areas. All OMR sheet have
index points that are crucial to their functioning. Do not mark anything
on or near Index Points or Timing Track of OMR sheet. Any change in
Timing Track and OMR sheet identification block will lead to rejection
of the OMR sheet and no result will be generated for such OMR sheets. DO
NOT make any stray marks on the OMR Sheet. Use the area for “Rough
Work” on sheet only if explicitly provided.
Following are some tips you should follow when you sit for the exam :
- Read all instructions carefully.
- Some
students first solve full paper then they'll fill the OMR sheet. But
based on a survey, it is said that this method leads to lot of silly
mistakes by the students like to fill OMR sheet in last time hurry or
something remaining time is very less to fill OMR sheet due to
mismanagement of time by student.
- To keep away the above mentioned problem it is always good to follow the Exam Paper Pattern.
- Solve one question then fill the OMR sheet for that particular question. This pattern should be followed for the whole paper.
- Sometimes
first ten questions are very hard to solve, this is the strategy of
examiner to demoralize the students. So, don’t feel fear or depressed,
instead go further for next questions in series which are much simpler
than the first ones.
- Solving questions by negative approach
say for example.. if you do not know the answer of question but you know
that, in given options two or not correct then you take chance to solve
this question by remaining two options.
Nice Idea
