PINK::In fifties our veteran film 🎥 maker Kwajaa Ahmed Abbass made a n innovative theme film 🎥"Gyaraha hazzar ladkiyaan (11,000 girls)" based on the fact at that period of time in Bombay there were around 11,000 single girls from all over the India settled in Bombay and staying without families to do jobs in Bombay and he nicely reflected the problems of their living alone and indirectly suggested to the Government to make a safe residential place for them like working women's hostel.

This is a brilliant story of 3 bold girls and their involvement and encounters with rich parent's boys and bilateral police 🚓 complaints and the problems.Amitabh a retired lawyers comes to fight their case and he raises a point of consent and "NO" by a girl,a woman,a sex worker and even by wife for interpretation by the male dominate society that if any girl goes to party with boys and drinks 🍸that may not be considered an evaluating or taken as granted that a girls has loose character and she is ready or willing for flirt and/or sex.The court room drama movie 🎬 does not reveal any suspense nor curiosity nor interest in genera

ted to the thrilling extent.Some dialogues are nice but court room drama is not spine chilling or binding us to keep adherent to the chair.Thanks Amitabh is not loud at any moment and he has acted in most underacting with balanced act.An interesting 140 minutes movie 🎬 has succeeded to elaborate and narrate what the director,prodecer and director wanted to give it convetly to the audience.(****) 4 stars.No repeat value.No box office appeal.An innovative movie 🎬that has made a point 👉 and succeeded partially if not fully.May be viewed once.
